Deluxe Boat ANDELA LORA (all cabins with shower cabin/toilet)
The Anđela Lora is a very elegant boat. Next to the boat Linda it is captain Damir's second boat for Islandhopping. The boat was only launched in spring 2012. This yacht is really an elegant steel
construction of the "deluxe category". With its imposing length of more than 40 yards und a breadth of more than 9 yards it is one of the biggest boats of our Croatian fleet. It has got 17 roomy cabins available for our guests (14 - 16² yards) – many of them are three- or four-bed cabins with tiled bathrooms and separate showers. Astern the boat has a bathing platform which facilitates the access to the open sea. A nice salon on the upper deck of the boat and many deck chairs for sunbathing on each platform make the voyage on the Anđela Lora a very special one. The attentive and helpful crew is ready to do anything for a light-hearted journey through this wonderful island world.
This tour is part of our Islandhopping-Plus-Program consisting of four different tours by now. They are characterized by especially for these trips built deluxe boats: Princeza Diana, Anđela Lora and Harmonia - a new category of boats which are synonym for greatest possible comfort due to the offered space and luxurious furnishing. Our chef serves haut cuisine and the crew is very thoughtful, careful and polite. But all cycle tours are planned in a way that enables also cyclist riding a hybrid bicycle - but wanting to spend their vacation on one of the deluxe boats - to join the bike rides trouble-free if they have a basic level of fitness. Last but not least our Plus-tours offer some surprises especially prepared for you.
Countless islands in crystal clear water, deeply fissured cliffs, picturesque beaches and numerous small bays. That’s the Kvarner Bay in the northern Adriatic. Every island is different. Each has its own history. We spend a week discovering the landscape and people of this unique island world by bike independently and with the aid of knowledgeable tour guides. On a romantic motor yacht, our floating accommodation, we discover the charm of the Adriatic in our own special way. The itinerary of the trip is in some ways parallel to our regular cycling cruise in the Kvarner Bay – the Plus-Tour therefore could be a good alternative in case of an already fully booked regular cycling cruise at your preferred travel date.
1st day (Sun) Omišalj – Malinska – Krk (cycle tour approx. 20 km / 12 mi.)
Individual arrival to Omisalj - a quiet port town on the island of Krk. We have enough time to take a refreshing swim in the Adriatic Sea or to enjoy an ice cream before we board the boat. Between14 and 14:30 pm onwards we can move into our cabins on the motor yacht. Around 15 pm the boat takes off to Malinska on Krk Island. From here we start our first cycle tour that leads us through old villages and luscious vegetation as far as the lively island capital of the same name, which can be explored in the evening on a guided walk through the historic old town.
2nd day (Mon) Islands of Goli Otok and Rab (cycle tour approx. 25 km/ 15 mi.)
From Krk the boat takes us in the morning to Goli Otok (Croatian: the naked island), a tiny island on which the Yugoslavian high security prison “Titos Hawai” was situated from 1949 – 1988. Today the island is uninhabited but may be visited. After a guided visit the boat sails to Lopar on Rab Island. From here today’s tour leads us through the northern part of the island, which is green and rich in water to Rab town. The fortified capital of the island was built in the Middle Ages on a wedge shaped headland, and marks one of the highlights of the trip. The four famous bell towers are the symbol of the adorned beauty of the town. On a guided evening walk we can explore the most interesting sights of Rab. Numerous cosy cafes invite us to enjoy a drink in the narrow alleys after dinner.
3rd day (Tue) Island of Pag - Zadar (cycle tour approx. 20 km/ 12 mi.)
After a short cruise we reach island of Pag. In the harsh but delightful landscape of the island we come across many fig and olive trees. Over the centuries the inhabitants have built numerous stone walls for protection against the wind. Starting from Lun at the northern end of the island we cycle to Novalja, where the boat awaits us for a sail to Zadar, which, for centuries, was the political, cultural and spiritual centre of Dalmatia. 3000 years of history have left their imprint on the character of this town and there are many things to be admired: the mighty fortified walls with their bastions, the loggia but also the early Romanesque St. Donatus Basilica. In the evening our tour guide takes us on an extensive walk through the lively city centre.

5th day (Tue) Islands of Molat and Lošinj (cycle tour approx. 10 + 45 km/ 6 + 27 mi.)

Here the boat awaits us for the cruise to Mali Lošinj where we take another bike ride along the water front and many picturesque bays until we reach the southernmost part of the island and the village of Veli Losinj. The small port town with its numerous fishing boats is dominated by the imposing church of St. Anton. We stay overnight in Mali Lošinj.
6th day (Fri) Islands of Cres and Lošinj (cycle tour approx. 45 km/ 28 mi.)
From Mali Lošinj we cycle across the island as far as the artists’ village of Osor. The bay with its crystal clear water is perfect for swimming. On a guided tour through Osor we learn about the Croatian history, its currency and why there are no snakes on Cres and the connection of the artists’ village and the Greek mythology. Then we cycle further on through pine, fig and laurel trees along the east side of the island and to Martinščica. From here a short cruise takes us to Cres town. If weather conditions are fine, we may stop with the boat for a swim in one of the numerous bays. In the evening a guided walk through the Venetian old is offered by our tour guides.

The last evening aboard takes place traditionally and includes the customary dinner and a last get-together in a cosy atmosphere with crew and tour guides.
